Ironically, RJ Barrett is the offensive player that Raptors supporters have been waiting for since OG Anunoby. He is still a battering ram who can drive the ball and create layup possibilities for himself or his teammates. Right now, Gary Trent Jr. is having his finest basketball game of the year. With Quickley and Barrett back in the lineup, he’s been a lethal shooter in addition to being a leader while the team was without all of its stars. These three have provided an enticing glimpse of what the Raptors’ starting lineup can accomplish next season alongside their roster, regardless of how this last week unfolds.
